1. Agreement to Terms

Launch Reads is operated by Foundry Lane Group LLC. By accessing or using Launch Reads, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Launch Reads is a publisher platform that helps authors and publishers make books available to readers, manage campaigns, and track completion proof such as honest Amazon review links or a written reading summary that our team checks by hand.

Launch Reads does not sell guaranteed reviews, guaranteed ratings, or Verified Purchase status. Reading engagements recognize completed reading, not a specific review or rating.

Readers are independent platform users, not your agents, employees, or controlled representatives. You cannot control which eligible reader chooses a reading engagement, how quickly a reader completes the reading, or the substance, rating, timing, or continued availability of any review.

3. Publisher Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate account, book, billing, and campaign information.
• You must own or control the rights needed to upload and distribute reading materials.
• You must comply with Amazon's terms, community guidelines, FTC rules, and all applicable laws.
• You may not ask readers for positive reviews, specific ratings, scripted language, or review swaps.
• You may not contact readers directly to influence review content or outcomes.

4. Campaigns, Funds, and Approval

• Publishers set campaign budgets and per-completion bid amounts subject to platform minimums.
• Campaign bids, platform minimums, bid guidance, eligibility rules, reading engagement limits, credit policies, and refund policies may change under Launch Reads' then-current platform rules.
• Funds may be held for active reading engagements and released according to Launch Reads approval rules.
• Reader submissions may be approved, returned, rejected, or manually reviewed at Launch Reads' discretion.
• Amazon controls whether reviews publish, remain live, or display as Verified Purchase.

5. Prohibited Conduct

• Uploading books or files you do not have permission to distribute.
• Using Launch Reads to manipulate ratings, review text, pricing, or marketplace signals.
• Creating fraudulent accounts, payment disputes, fake campaigns, or misleading book listings.
• Attempting to bypass platform limits, verification rules, or account restrictions.
• Harassing readers, support staff, administrators, or other users.

6. Payments and Refunds

Publisher payments are processed through Stripe and added to your Launch Reads wallet. The following deposit rules explain when cash and promotional credits are refundable.

• Unused money in your cash wallet is refundable.
• Cash reserved for active assignments is not refundable while it is reserved.
• If an assignment ends and reserved cash returns to your wallet, that cash becomes refundable again.
• Money consumed by completed services is final and non-refundable.
• Promotional credits are not refundable as cash.
• Mandatory rights and remedies required by applicable law still apply.

7. Audiobook Campaigns

You must own or control every audiobook listing and promo code that you submit. Official ACX exports control promo-code availability. Launch Reads may keep an active reservation locked until its reader assignment ends, even when a later export creates a status conflict.

Listener pricing is fixed from the server-retrieved runtime. Funds enter escrow only when a reader claims an assignment. Readers are paid for completed listening, not for a specific review, rating, or statement.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your books and uploaded materials. You grant Launch Reads the limited rights needed to host, process, and make those materials available to participating readers for campaign completion.

9. Disclaimers

Launch Reads is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee campaign velocity, review volume, review permanence, Amazon account outcomes, sales, or any specific marketplace result.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for suspected fraud, policy violations, payment issues, legal risk, misuse, or behavior that creates risk for Launch Reads, readers, publishers, or the marketplace.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of Launch Reads after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
